We came Regensburg to visit our friends during the last summer days. We enjoyed many good meals, beautiful hikes, and new places. A highlight was the Nepal Himalaya Pavilion just outside the city.
A millionaire’s interest in Nepal and his visit to the 2000 World Expo led to this extraordinary Buddhist temple landing right in the middle of Bavaria. In addition to the pavilion, there are lovely, themed gardens around the park. We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying this peaceful, unique place.
