Even in winter, Prague is awfully pretty!
The first, and probably most terrifying, Golem we saw in Prague - Even though I was a bit unnerved, the Golem is a protector and, generally, a force for good.

Memorial to two students Jan Palach and Jan Zajic, who protested the Soviet Union’s invasion of Czechoslovakia by committing suicide by self-immolation - You can’t see the memorial itself because it’s covered with flowers and candles.

I had to stop at this lovely paper shop! I could have bought the entire store.
The Strahov Monastery and brewery
One of the old libraries in the Strahov Monastery dating back the the 17th century
I just loved the old, hand-scribed books.
The different rooms of the library were just spectacular!
We really enjoyed this view of the city from behind the Strahov Monastery.
There’s a “Lennon Wall” in Prague dedicated to the life and work of John Lennon (which you could probably guess). The wall changes as street artists make additions.
After visiting the Lennon Wall, we stumbled on this adorable restaurant on the canal. The water sprite (on the left) was a whimsical guest.
We found this shop in NYT’s 36 Hours list of recommendations. Based on styles from the countries communist era, we each found pairs we wouldn’t live without.
Kafka lived in Prague. There are several memorials to him, especially in the former Jewish Quarter. This statute was next to the Spanish Synagogue.

The entrance of the Pinkas Synagogue - the names of nearly 78,000 Czech victims of the Holocaust are written on the walls of the Synagogue
There are no words. My experience in the Pinkas Synagogue was deeply moving.
